Why DVD-Audio
"DVD-Audio does sound great. Listening to Miles Davis’s Tutu on this format is like hearing it for the first time. Every breath, every phrase, is delivered with crystal clarity. DVD-Audio sounds fabulous, plays on equipment that many of us already own and the discs cost around the same as a standard DVD." Nigell Kendal, timesonline
"Multichannel DVD-Audio literally reinvents music that we have been familiar with for decades; listening to an album remastered for DVD-Audio is like experiencing the recording all over again for the first time." Dolby DVD-Audio FAQ
"In some ways, the cabin of a sonically-insulated motor vehicle offers an ideal medium for DVD-Audio.” LA Car, Roy Nakano, www.lacar.com
How about Blu-ray
Blu-ray Disc is a next-generation optical disc format promoted by the Blu-ray Disc Association. While its video performances are noticeably superior to DVD-Video, its audio performances are only marginally better than DVD-Audio for most practical purposes. Cirlinca will expand its product line to support the Blu-ray optical format when Blu-ray becomes accepted and cost effective as a high definition audio media. Cirlinca's users can start today authoring high definition music DVDs with peace of mind concerning future evolutions.
